Please note: Office hours are Wednesday from Noon until 3PM and Friday from 9 AM until Noon,

Immediate Need Interment
In the most difficult time for families, suffering the loss of a loved one, we will work closely with the funeral director, providing a place of beauty, peace, and rest.
Pre-need Grave Sales
When you want to plan ahead, making the choices that will both please you and provide relief for those you love, we offer pre-need sale of lots.
Monument Placement
We work with monument providers to give your loved ones a lasting memorial, reflecting a life well lived. A monument displays not only names and dates, but also meaningful words for the living.
Basic rules for all visitors to keep in mind while at Wunder's Cemetery
Important to remember: all visitors must plan to exit the cemetery before the gates are closed and locked – daily at 4:30 PM.
- Visitors are to be respectful of all others in the cemetery to maintain the serenity of the grounds.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Drive with caution – limit is 10 mph.
- Park only aside the paved roadway while visiting.
- No alcohol consumption or drug use permitted.
- Dog walking is not allowed in the cemetery.
- Recreational jogging only on the roadway.
- Decorations may be placed only within 12 inches of the front face side of the gravesite marker.
- Wunder’s reserves the right to remove plantings and decorations deemed to be disrespectful or that detract from the serenity of the grounds.
- Entry to grounds permitted only when gates are open – 8 AM to 4:30 PM daily.
- Any other entry without prior notice, arrangement, and approval of the cemetery office will be considered trespassing and is subject to arrest and prosecution to the full extent of the law.
Conveniently located in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood
The gates of Wunder’s Cemetery are located on Clark Street just south of Irving Park Road. Our 14.5 wooded acres are also accessible on public transportaion via buses running along both Clark Street (#22) and Irving Park Road (#80) as well as the nearby Red Line stop at Sheridan Road.
